AI Technical Coordinator (Internship)
We're looking for a curious, technically-minded individual to join our team and help fine-tune the Automation7 platform (an AI-powered reporting tool that transforms demand generation campaign data into polished, insight-rich reports).
Your work will focus on building and refining AI workflows: designing prompts for data classification, structuring analysis pipelines, and crafting output formatting instructions. You'll primarily work on secondary features, but you'll have full visibility into the core product architecture.
This is a hands-on role where you'll learn how AI agents process real business data, how to "talk" to language models (LLMs) effectively, and how modern SaaS products are built from the ground up.
Day-to-day, you'll be:
- Writing and iterating on AI prompts and workflows
- Testing data upload and classification systems
- Documenting edge cases and suggesting improvements
- Collaborating with the founder and product team on feature development
- Learning vibe-coding techniques and AI-assisted development
A snapshot of what this role involves and what you'll develop:
Essential
- Active LLM user — You use ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools daily or weekly. You understand how prompting works, what these models can and can't do, and you're not afraid to experiment.
- Programming fundamentals — Familiarity with at least one language (Python, JavaScript, or similar). You don't need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable reading and understanding code.
- Accountability — When you commit to a task, you deliver. You communicate early if something's off track.
- Coachability — You're open to feedback, eager to learn new methods, and willing to adapt. "My way or the highway" stays at the door.
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or lead gen
- Built your own GPT, Claude Artifact, or AI-powered tool (maybe using Lovable, Replit, Cursor)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) or data analysis
- PowerPoint or Google Slides proficiency
- Understanding of APIs and how systems communicate
- Ideal for: University students, recent graduates, or career changers looking to break into AI/tech
- Commitment: Paid internship, minimum 15 hours per week (flexible around your schedule)
- Compensation: Monthly stipend, invoiced on a freelance/self-employed basis. Amount is proportionate to experience and location.
- Location: Fully remote. If you're London-based, you'll have opportunities to meet the team in person.
- Equipment: You'll need your own laptop. We provide email, collaboration tools, and access to AI/coding platforms.
- Confidentiality: You'll sign our NDA to protect product development details.
- Equal opportunities: We're committed to building an inclusive team. Read our commitment.
- A shipped product on your CV — You'll contribute to a real, live SaaS product. When Automation7 launches, you can point to features you helped build.
- AI-native skills — Learn how to work with LLMs, build AI workflows, and vibe-code alongside AI assistants. These skills are increasingly valuable across every industry.
- Startup exposure — See how a medium-small team builds products from scratch. Understand the full stack: product, tech, marketing, and operations.
- Reference letter — Upon successful completion, receive a reference letter for your university, future employers, or portfolio.
- Network access — Connect with professionals in the B2B marketing and AI space through the Xponential7 ecosystem.
